The pictures below are before and after images of our house in Lake City.   This home I remodeled with Calin.    Every detail in this house I
planned for my personal liking, thinking that now being finally debt free I will never have to sell or move again.

At this point I no longer bother making any assumptions.   I just ask God every so often to grant me to stay in the Lake Panasoffkee home until the
end.  I am so tired of doing remodeling tasks and to live in a work zone!  The Lake Panasoffkee home is the fourth home I remodel and live through
it.  It occurs to me that I am whining, I will confess that God is faithful and gives me strength and knowledge how to perform the tasks.   He is
indeed faithful and does not allow more sorrow than one could bare, unfortunately we discover that we can bare more than we think we would be
able to.  I'm whining again.
Window still in place in this photo.  A
new opening was cut for the new side
window, and another opening for a
porch door.
The windows are now replaced.  These
mahogany windows I purchased at a
demolishing estate site for $100 each.
We also went into the attic to create a
vaulted ceiling.
Finished kitchen.
Same area afterwards.
Hallway niche.
Hallway after.
Original hallway.  There was
carpet on the floor..
Living room towards the entrance
and hallway.
Same area towards the right
side of the kitchen.
Living room towards the kitchen.  Originally
this was a separate room with solid walls.
The other side of the kitchen.
Ceiling detail.  It looks pretty but for two
weeks I worked with the hands elevated.  I
kept saying that I'll never do it again but I
now plan to also do the grapes in my new
place in Lake Panasoffkee ;-)
Mom taking it seriously.  She pushed
me to start remodeling this room.
We both use laptops.  The office
turned into doggy room when I
needed time alone.
The hood.
Office.  Originally it had sliding doors.
Very old, they needed to be replaced.
Window and wall in place.  Also a
frame for a new door.  Window also
purchased from a demolition estate.
After.  My old desktop needs to go.
The room also needs crown moulding.
Niche detail.
Dinning room.
The original kitchen.
We demolished the separating wall in
order to enlarge the kitchen.
The wall is now demolished and the original
window removed.
My faithful company.
Same room, towards the right side of
the kitchen.
Same area now finished.  The sofas I
found in a Thrift Store.  I should take
these pics again in daylight.
Floating ceiling.  Glaze being applied
on textured walls.
Walls removed.
A step forward.
Converting two bedrooms into a master.
"Second hand" sliding doors
and window in place.
Main hallway towards the office.
Master bath.  Not finished.
White unit is temporary.
Master still not done.  I am not happy
about the way I began to decorate it.
Guest bathroom
Wall unit in guest bedroom which I
built from drywall on a 2 x 4 frame
and textured afterwards.
The doors are behind the
drapes.
Guest bedroom.  It previously
had red tint wood panels and a
small window which we
replaced with French doors.
Second guest bedroom.  I planned this
room just in case we would have had a
child.  Calin made the sofit in about
three days which I faux-finished clouds
like.  The drapes I sewed from $1 yard
fabric from WalMart ;-)
